On May 16, 2026, a larceny occurred at the Food Lion located at 13100 Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County. The suspect begins to make numerous cash transactions for two gift cards totaling $1,000. The suspect hands money taken from her purse and the top of the checkout counter back and forth with the cashier numerous times for over 4 minutes. The Flim-flam scheme ultimately ended with the suspect placing all of the money back into her purse and walking out with two loaded gift cards worth $500 each without paying.
