On Nov. 8, 2025, a commercial burglary occurred at the Hot Spot Smoke Shop at 6101 Belmont Road in Chesterfield County. Four unknown, masked suspects broke into the business by smashing the front door with a hammer. Once inside, the suspects ransacked the store and left with merchandise worth about $4,000 and $2,000 in cash from the register. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle that was stolen out of Richmond and recovered in Chesterfield County the same day.
