On Sept. 28, 2025, a larceny from auto and fraud occurred at James River High School in Chesterfield County. The suspect was seen in the area on a scooter before entering the victim's vehicle and stealing credit cards from a purse. One of the victim's credit cards was then fraudulently used to make a purchase at the Lowe's on Koger Center Boulevard. The suspect is described as a Black male and he was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black New Balance pants, blue sneakers with white soles and a bike helmet.
