Blue Ridge Bank Attempted Check Fraud

On Dec. 13, 2022, around 4:16 p.m., an unknown male entered Blue Ridge Bank at 3209 Boulevard in Colonial Heights and attempted to cash a fraudulent check for over $4,500. When asked by the teller for further identification the suspect left the bank without obtaining any funds from the account. The suspect is described as a white male between 25 and 30 years of age with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray jacket, burgundy shirt, blue jeans, and a gray-and-white ballcap.
