On May 3, 2022, around 4:10 p.m., a felonious assault with a firearm occurred in the 5600 block of Canasta Drive in Chesterfield County. The victim was walking in the area when he was approached by two Black males who exchanged words with him. One of the suspects, who appeared to be about 30 years old and had a thin build, goatee, and cornrow-style hair, discharged a firearm near the victim, who was struck by debris.
