On Dec. 31, 2021, at about 4:27 p.m., the victim was traveling west in the 10800 block of Midlothian Turnpike when a silver vehicle pulled up alongside his vehicle and fired a shot at the passenger-side door. The bullet struck the victim, causing life-threatening injuries. The driver of the silver vehicle, which appears to be a 2019 Honda Civic with black rims, was described as a Black male. The silver vehicle was last seen traveling west on Midlothian Turnpike toward Chesterfield Towne Center.
