On April 17, 2021, while attending a carnival in the SouthPark Mall parking lot in Colonial Heights, the victim was attacked by a group of young black females. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. and began when at least eight suspects knocked the victim to the ground. After the victim was on the ground, the suspects continued their assault by kicking and punching her.
