ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at the Fast & Friendly located in the 6200-block of Jeff Davis Highway. 

At approximately 8:50 pm, two men entered the store displaying firearms. One suspect immediately jumped the counter and tried to tear open the cash register. After being unable to do so, the pair fled the store. One suspect was armed with a handgun, the other a shotgun.
