CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police have arrested a woman who robbed the Wells Fargo bank branch at 9601 Amberdale Drive on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017. No one was injured during the incident.

 

Police said the woman approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The woman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Further investigation revealed that the woman got into a waiting vehicle, which was driven by another suspect. No weapon was displayed during the incident.

 

On Thursday Nov. 9, police released surveillance images and a description of the suspect. Police received Crime Solvers tips, and developed a suspect based on information in the tips. Later Thursday night, police arrested Giorgia J. Rusteau - Harvey, 39, of Richmond, for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery in relation to the incident. The investigation indicates her husband, Michael D. Harvey drove the vehicle involved in the incident. Michael Harvey, 43, also of Richmond, was arrested without incident on Thursday, Nov. 9, and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

 

Both suspects are being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond. Pretrial is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at 11a.m..

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are searching for a woman who robbed the Wells Fargo bank branch at 9601 Amberdale Drive at about 11:30 a.m. today. No one was injured during the incident.

Police said the woman approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed during the incident.

 

The suspect is described as a black female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds. She had a slender build and blond braided hair. She was wearing a brown jacket, dark-colored pants, a blue hat, a multi-colored scarf, black gloves and black-and-white sneakers. She was carrying a multi-colored purse.
