During the late morning of June 15, a man reported that his Beats headphones had been stolen from the employee breakroom of Best Buy at 1560 Koger Center Boulevard. After reviewing surveillance footage, police determined the suspect was a dark-complexioned black male operating a motorized wheelchair.
On the afternoon of that same day, an officer responded to the Kirkland’s at Chesterfield Towne Center to speak to a female victim who claimed that items had been taken out of her purse while it was in the employee breakroom. Just prior to the theft, she had an interaction with the same black male who was seen in the Best Buy surveillance footage.
Then, on June 29, the Colonial Heights Police Department took a report about the same suspect. This time, he had reportedly taken a wallet from an employee of the Best Buy on Southpark Boulevard. Once again, security footage showed the black male in the motorized wheelchair in the restricted area.
