CRIME OF THE WEEK

CASE 1776

THEFT at AN ATM

CONTRIBUTED BY: CPL. KEVIN BACON
JUNE 25, 2018

On Thursday, December 14, 2017, at approximately 1 p.m., a man was withdrawing cash from the drive-through ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank on Chesterfield Meadows Drive. He forgot to pull the money from the machine, and after leaving, discovered his error. He walked back to the ATM, but another car was there. The driver denied knowing anything about the cash.

After reporting the problem, a witness told him that the driver of the red car appeared to take something out of the ATM as soon as he pulled up to it.
