Crime Solvers Awards Local Students

For the first time in its 31-year history, the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program awarded scholarships to students in its Scholastic Program.
On May 15, 2015, representatives from the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers Board of Directors, Current President Catherine "Kitty" John and Scholastic Program Chair Norman "Norm" Frigault, and Detectives Kevin Bacon and Chris Rizzuti visited Cosby High School and presented $1,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors, Jessica Nazzaro and Gabby Pecoraro.
In addition to meeting academic and extra-curricular requirements, each recipient completed a 500-word essay detailing her experience with the Crime Solvers Scholastic Program and Crime Solvers' role in combating crime.
Crime Solvers would like to invite the public to visit and check out the "Scholarship Winners" box to read the full text of each recipient's essay. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program wishes these impressive students the very best of luck in their future endeavors.

National Night Out 2015

Crime Solvers had a very successful appearance at Westchester Commons for the National Night Out kick-off concert! We had the opportunity to meet with many members of our community and were treated to a live performance by local band Flat Elvis!

Watson the Crime Solvin' Tree Frog was there and made some new friends, including Rodney the Ram from VCU! We'd like to extend a big thanks to Zach, Tyler and Cody (students with our Scholastic Program) for volunteering to help us man the Crime Solvers booth. It was great to see some of our other students (past and present) there, too. In fact, we have a very exciting announcement coming out soon regarding a possible new partner-in-crime(solving).

Speaking of National Night Out, have you registered your neighborhood's NNO party yet? Head on over to: to register!

If you would like an appearance from Crime Solvers, Give us a call at (804)748-1278 to schedule a representative!
